This session examines the importance of using a strategic approach for publishing to maximise research impact and support your career goals.
Join Lucy Walton, Scholarly Publishing Consultant, WSU Library and Sharon Lind, Senior Librarian, Research Services, ACU Library in this joint presentation.
Sharon and Lucy will discuss the ‘5-steps’ approach to strategic scholarly publishing that will help you develop a publishing plan.
- THINK about criteria to help you select the most suitable publishing outlets for your research
- CHECK the quality of selected publishing sources to find the most impactful for your research
- SUBMIT your research which is aligned with publishing guidelines
- PROMOTE your research at three stages during the project lifecycle
