Research Data Management Online
Open research data accelerates the discovery and dissemination of research findings, provides improved confidence in the supported research publications, and contributes to discipline and public knowledge. To achieve the profile, citation, collaboration, and contribution benefits of open research data, researchers can plan to align their projects with the FAIR and CARE data principles.
We will take advantage of the opportunity to talk through open access considerations for research data in an institutional partnership project.
Join Karen Sheehy Research Data Consultant, WSU Library and Thomas Reeson Research Data and Infrastructure Librarian, ACU Library in this joint presentation.
Content covered in this session includes:
- An overview of the benefits to open research data
- Discussion of the FAIR and CARE principles and how to apply them to your projects
- Discussion of the sensitivities for research data and how to maximise openness
- How to collect and publish open research data in inter-institutional projects
