Join our copyright gurus Vanessa Tuckfield, Copyright Manager, ACU Library and Frank Hill, University Copyright Officer, WSU in this joint presentation.

As artificial intelligence becomes all pervasive this session will look at current AI happenings regarding copyright and then discuss the possible impact they could have on research publishing.

We will explore just how important community ownership of knowledge maybe into the future.

  • Discussion around text and data mining for training AI’s
  • Discussion on some of the current court cases and AI, particularly ownership of AI produced works.
  • Discussion on the corporatisation of knowledge.
