Butterfly Pollinators and Nectar Plants: Talk and Workshop

Butterfly Pollinators and Nectar Plants: Talk and Workshop In-Person

At this session on August 14th, Professor James H. Yang will guide visitors to learn about butterfly ecology and will also include a DIY workshop where participants can make their own paper butterflies. This hands-on activity is designed to promote the idea of observing butterflies rather than capturing them, encouraging a more humane and respectful attitude toward butterfly conservation. More information about Professor Yang's project can be found here

All materials for the paper butterflies will be provided free of charge, and each participant will receive a 3-D butterfly postcard as a small gift.

Be sure to also check out Professor Yang's latest exhibition Butterfly Elf, What's Your Favourite Nectar? in the library.
