High Degree Research Identifiers: The IDs you need and why you need them Online
High Degree Researchers need to create some identifiers to ensure they meet their candidature milestones. These identifiers, ORCID and Google Scholar, can be complex to set up in the first instance, but are easy to maintain.
This session is designed specifically to assist High Degree Research (HDR) candidates in properly creating verifiable identifiers and to outline their purpose.
Content covered in this session:
- Defining what identifiers are and outlining why they are important
- Describing the features of a well-constructed identifier and
- Working through the process of creating, improving, and maintaining them.
This Library session, facilitated by the GRS School Librarian, includes time for applying the content for those who wish to work in real time.
