Turning Food Waste into Value through Research and Commercialisation In-Person / Online

Speakers:

Assoc. Prof. Dharma Hagare – Western Sydney University
Mr. Norm Boyle – Founder & CEO, Food Recycle Ltd

Join us for a compelling session exploring how food waste can be transformed into valuable resources through research innovation and industry application.

Assoc. Prof. Dharma Hagare, a leader in sustainability engineering and circular economy research, will present cutting-edge work on converting food waste into nutritionally balanced animal feed. His insights highlight the environmental and economic benefits of reducing landfill waste while creating viable commercial products.

Complementing this, Norm Boyle, founder and CEO of Food Recycle, will share how these concepts are being scaled in practice. Drawing on his experience commercialising patented technologies, he will discuss Food Recycle’s proprietary process and ambitious plans to establish multiple facilities in Australia and internationally to convert food waste into high-quality animal feed.
