Law research for non-lawyers: introduction to legal research Westlaw & Lexis+ Online
Interested in understanding how to conduct legal research, but not a law student?
This session will introduce you to essential legal research tools, Westlaw and Lexis+, even if you're not studying law. Learn how to use these powerful databases to access legal information and apply it effectively to your assessments or projects.
What to expect:
- Lecture-based with practical demonstrations
Learning objectives:
- Understand the basics of legal research using Westlaw and Lexis+
- Learn how to search for legal information, even without a law background
- Develop skills to incorporate legal resources into your assignments or research
