Looking for the best databases to support your studies in the School of Education?

This event will introduce students to key academic databases and resources tailored specifically for those studying education. You’ll learn how to efficiently search for peer-reviewed articles, educational research, and teaching resources to support your assignments and projects. Whether you're conducting literature reviews or looking for practical teaching materials, this session will help you navigate the most valuable databases for your studies.

What to expect from the event?

Expect a hands-on workshop where you'll be guided through databases like JSTOR, ERIC, and other relevant platforms, with tips on how to search effectively and access resources relevant to education research.

What will students get out of it in terms of skills/knowledge?

  • Learn how to access and search academic databases like ERIC, JSTOR, and Google Scholar
  • Understand how to refine search queries to find relevant education-focused research
