Feeling overwhelmed by your assignment and not sure where to begin?

This workshop, "I Have an Assignment, Where Do I Start? Using Marking Criteria," will help you understand the marking criteria for assessments and how to use them effectively in preparing your assignments. You’ll learn how to align your work with these criteria to improve your grades.

What to expect from the event?

An online session with practical examples of how to use marking criteria to succeed in your assessments.

Students will gain valuable skills in interpreting marking criteria, which will enhance their assignment preparation and overall academic performance.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in an activity to consolidate their learning.

**Learning objectives:**

  • - Learn how to interpret assessment questions and understand how marking criteria are structured and applied.
  • - Learn how to use criteria to guide your assignment preparation.
  • - Develop strategies for meeting and exceeding assessment expectations.
