Novice to Expert: Optimise Your Assignment Research In-Person
Get ready to level up your research game and improve your marks in the "Novice to Expert: Optimise Your Assignment Research" session!
You will gain hands-on experience in navigating library resources, sharpening your critical evaluation skills and becoming proficient in the skill of conducting effective database searches. By the end, you will have evolved from novices to research ninjas, equipped with the knowledge and skills to begin your assignment.
Learning Objectives:
Navigating Library Resources
- Provide hands-on experience in searching for academic resources through the library catalogue and databases.
Critical Evaluation Skills
- Develop students’ ability to critically evaluate sources for credibility, relevance, and reliability. Including making informed decisions when utilising AI tools in their research.
Effective Research Strategies
- Introduce research strategies that save time and improve the efficiency of the assignment research process.
