Creating your Researcher Profile

Creating your Researcher Profile Online

To kickstart Open Access Week, we are holding a Researcher Profile training session.

Are you a seasoned researcher, an early|mid-career researcher or just starting your HDR candidacy? You will need a strong researcher profile to avoid author ambiguity and to make your research output more 'discoverable'.  If you want to create a Google Scholar profile, Orcid ID and sync your publications in Scopus to your Oricid ID, then this session is for you!

Content covered in this session includes:

  • Using Research Identifiers to ensure the seamless, long-term access to research outputs and researchers
  • An overview of Researcher Profiles
  • Setting up a profile in Google Scholar
  • Creating and updating an Orcid profile

Join Sharon Lind, Senior Librarian, Research Services, ACU Library, Nicole Godfrey, Consultant, Elsevier and Maureen O'Brien Research Literacy Coordinator, WSU Library in this joint presentation.
