2 Day Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) - Literacy-Focused Workshop Online

Do you want to be a teacher in the future? You need to complete the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) test in order to work as a teacher in Australia.

This workshop will give you the skills to pass the literacy section of LANTITE.

If you have any inquiries please email: literacy@westernsydney.edu.au

This workshop takes place on Zoom over two days:

Day 1: 9:30am-2:30pm

Day 2: 9:30am-1:30pm

The workshop focuses on the structure of the LANTITE (literacy section) and reading and comprehension strategies (DAY 1), and grammar and punctuation (Day 2). The workshop includes time for students to do three practice tests (two on day 1, and one on day 2). The answers are then shared and there is time for discussion. The practice tests aim to provide texts and questions that are similar to the practice tests provided on the ACER website. The workshop is also an opportunity for students to learn tips from other students who have already had one attempt at the LANTITE.
